Castles is a British soap opera following three generations of a large London family. It ran for 24 episodes on BBC One during the summer of 1995 and was a co-production by the BBC and Granada Television.

The head of the family, James, was having an affair with Christean which came out in episode 1 at his wifes birthday party. When this eventually comes out it does have an affect on the whole family, but they all have problems of their own, bankruptcy, affairs, weddings and a son who wanted to become a priest.
